University of Alaska Giving Day raised more than $1.1 million from 3,075 donors, well above the 2,026 anticipated benefactors. The University of Alaska Southeast received $105,819 from 315 donors. The funding goes toward UAS general scholarships, Alaskan native studies, the Egan Library, student support, general wellness, as well as the Schools of Arts and Sciences, Career Education, and Education.
